Antishaum

Antishaum is a specialized line of high-performance anti-foaming additives and ready-to-use metalworking fluids from Quaker Houghton, designed to control foaming in metalworking fluids. Antishaum products effectively address the problem of excessive foaming in circulation systems, which is particularly relevant at high processing speeds, intense circulation, and when using soft water.

Antishaum anti-foaming fluids quickly break down stable foam, prevent its reformation, do not negatively impact the stability of the emulsion, and do not reduce the lubricating and cooling properties of the base metalworking fluid. The additives are compatible with most water-soluble metalworking fluids from Quaker Houghton (Metalina, Adrana, Houghto-Cut, etc.) and retain their effectiveness for a long time even at high temperatures.
